Therasuit Method

  •     Combines an individualised intensive programme for children with Cerebral Palsy enhanced by the Therasuit and its Universal Exercise Unit.
  •     Fights against the results of immobilisation.
  •     Proves that the standardised approach to therapy is less effective.
  •     Is based on the principles of intensive therapy according to the laws of gravity.
  •     Trains the body of a child with special needs to become like one without special needs.
  •     Promotes a health and fitness program that enhances the growth and development of the individual.
  •     Therasuit is a gentle, proprioceptive, dynamic orthotic which is made up of a cap, shirt, shorts, knee pads and shoe connectors which join one shoe to the other through a system of elastic belts.
  •     It is a safe effective tool used in conjunction with the intensive exercise program to accelerate the progress of the child.

  •     Improves the proprioception of the child.

  •     Reduces expression of pathological reflexes. Restores proper type of movement and gait.

  •     Provides external stabilisation and supports weak muscles.

  •     Corrects body alignment.

  •     Affects the vestibular system of the brain.

  •     Triggers the brain to retrain the Central Nervous System.

  •     Triggers touch and sensation.

  •     Stimulates and improves speech production. It conveys gravitational pressure to the body.
  •     Accelerates the progress of movement and functional skills.
